| Gardner Denver NASH - vacuum pump, compressor |
|
Liquid ring vacuum pumps were patented in 1905 by an American engineer, Lewis NASH. Since then the American NASH company (Gardner Denver NASH) has been the world leading manufacturer of liquid ring vacuum pumps and compressors.
The product range covers all demands from 0,3 kW to 800 kW, 5 to 40.000 m3/h, 0,1 mbar to 14 bar vacuum pumps and compressors together with specialised engineered versions and tailor made units to suit all applications.
Gardner Denver NASH liquid ring vacuum pumps and compressors are simple, robust, efficient, very reliable and need minimal maintenance.
NASH has been part of the Gardner Denver group since 2004. The famous Elmo liquid ring vacuum pump family belongs to NASH as well (former name Nash-Elmo, Siemens Elmo). Garo compressors, which can operate on up to 14 bar pressure are also distributed by NASH, as well as dry vacuum pumps (twin screw).

| How Gardner Denver liquid ring vacuum pumps work |
|
|
Gardner Denver NASH liquid ring vacuum pumps and compressors are simple, robust and very reliable. There is only one moving part, the rotor and there is no metal to metal friction!
The axis of the rotor and the housing is offset from each other. The spinning of the rotor forces the liquid (not filling the house completely) to form a ring in the house. Since the liquid ring and the rotor are not concentric, periodically increasing and decreasing chambersizes will evolve with each turn of the rotor.
